You've Got Questions...We've Got Answers

1. How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as a combination of organic and traditional portrait photography. I           believe this gives a nice balance to your collection.

2. Who will be taking the pictures?

I (Chase) will be the one behind the camera directing you on how to pose and what to do. Most        of the time I will also have my lovely assistant (Amalia) there to help with equipment, fixing              hair, distracting children, etc...

3. What can I expect during the session?

You can expect to laugh and have FUN! The best part of the session is getting dressed up and having some             laughs with whomever you are with. I try to keep the sessions lively and never too serious. My clients often         tell me that the sessions feel like an event out and not a photography shoot.

4. Where do sessions take place?

The location of the session(s) is completely up to you. If you're not set on a particular place or           want some suggestions I can certainly help.

5. When do sessions take place? How long are sessions?

Photography is all about the light. With that said, the best light occurs about an hour before                 sunset and that is the time I highly recommended to get soft and beautiful colors. However, I still         do sunrise sessions and can accommodate sessions during any time of the day. Normal sessions           take between 45-60 min.

6. What should I wear?

Don't be afraid to dress it up. When choosing colors for women or girls, I recommend softer, lighter             tones and more muted shades. By avoiding ultra-bright, bold colors, it will help bring attention to             your faces. Shades of soft pink and muted blues, mixed with light neutrals like heather gray, creams,         leather brown and white are excellent choices. On the men's side, solid shades of gray or navy are a           strong compliment to most women's outfits, whereas pinstripes or plaid patterns tend to distract the         eye. I also recommend staying away from graphics or logos. And remember...there's no such thing as         too dressed up!

7. How many pictures do I get?

Typical sessions yield about 15-20 images. Each image is specifically edited and retouched to bring          out your natural skins tones and complimenting color. I also remove any imperfections such as                acne or blemishes. None of the images will have a watermark.

8. When can I expect my pictures?

My turnaround time is usually ten days. If you require a faster turnaround time please let me know            prior to the session and I can usually meet the request.

9. How will I get my pictures?

You will receive a link to a gallery (view examples here) in which you can download and share all              the edited images. Through the link you can also buy physical prints. I strongly recommend to my              clients that if they choose to print on their own that  they avoid places like Walmart or                                    Walgreens/CVS. The print quality at these places will not produce the quality of images you desire.

10. What if the weather is too bad to shoot?

I always check the weather a few days leading up to every shoot and keep a close eye on the                       forecast. Nevertheless, the weather will do what it wants and it can change drastically in a very short       time. If the weather does not permit a safe and suitable environment I will offer to reschedule at no           additional charge.

11. What does a photography session cost? How and when do I pay?

Please click here for pricing. Payment is due at the time of the session. Cash or check is accepted.                 Payment may also be made by credit card but must be requested prior to the session.

12. Can I give you examples of what I want? Can I provide a shot list?

ABSOLUTELY! I encourage you to look on Instagram/Facebook/Pintrest for ideas and inspiration and         send them to me.  It helps me to know what your expectations are and to help make sure you get the         poses and images you want.

13. What if my child misbehaves?

Let children be children! I have found that its best to let them be a little crazy and have fun and not           worry too  much about whether they are doing exactly what you want. If you let them run around it          helps to get their wiggles out and they are more likely to cooperate. If you spend the whole time               forcing them to smile and pose they aren't going to be happy and neither are you. Playing simple               little games has been effective in grabbing attention even for short bursts of time.

14. Do you have any reviews?

Yes! I actively use Thumbtack and have several reviews that you may read. Just click the icon below.
